The article presents the results of the study of the genetic collection of potato, soft spring wheat, green pea, black currant in the practical breeding of the M.G. Safronov Yakut Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture. The research was conducted in the natural and climatic conditions of the Prilensky cultivated land in the floodplain areas of the midstream of the Lena river. The purpose of the study is to identify the genetic sources for the main economically valuable traits and properties for further use in the breeding process to create new varieties of potato, spring wheat, green pea and black currant. The study identified the variety samples that meet the requirements of crop breeding to create new varieties adapted to the natural and climatic conditions of the cryolithozone. Based on the main characteristics of economic value, the study Identifies 17 potato varieties out of 75; 9 soft spring wheat varieties out of 247; 20 black currant varieties out of 46; 6 pea varieties out of 17.
