Biological diversities of countries are important besides their historical and cultural richness. The location of Anatolia which is situated on the point of intersection, differences in field structure, diversity of climate and soil, excess of microclimate stands, altitude differences are effective on diversity of flora and fauna of Turkey. It is estimated that over 700 woody plants are exist in this flora. One of them is Acer L.(Maple) species. In this study which is presented as MSc thesis; morphological and anatomic feautures of Acer hyrcanum subsp. sphaerocaryum, Acer monspessulanum subsp. monspessulanum, Acer monspessulanum subsp. cinerascens which are spreading in the Lakes District. Samples were collected from Kasnak Oak Nature Protected Area of Yukarı-Gökdere Village, Sütçüler Tota Mountain, Eğirdir Yaka Avşar Village Kapızdere province, Melikler Cemetery region of Dedegöl Mountain in the Lakes District.Bark, shoot, leaf, fruit and bud samples were examined and measured for morphological features. The trichome number of bud on Acer hyrcanum subsp. sphaerocaryum is varied between 2 and 6. The leaf stalk was calculated as mean 55.79 mm and also palms of leaves lenght as mean 52.08 mm and mean palm of leaves width as 75.31 mm. For Acer monspessulanum subsp. monspessulanum, trichome numbers of bud is varied between 2 and 4. The lenght of leaf stalk was determined as mean 23.89 mm; palm of leaves as 23.95 and the width of leaves as 36.01 mm. The trichome number on bud of Acer monspessulanum subsp. cinerascens is varied between 2 and 5. The mean leaf stalk lenght is calculated as 44.78; mean palm of leaveas? lenght as 35.94 mm and the width of leaf palms as 49.53.Radial and tangent diameters of spring and summer wood, wall thickness, height width of pith rays in tangent section, width and height of cell, trahe numbers per mm² and number of pith ray were examined for anatomic features. The mean of vessel radial diameter of the spring wood for Acer hyrcanum subsp. sphaerocaryum was found as 49.36 µ, and the tangential diameter, vessel radial diameter of summer wood, tangential diameter of summer wood were found as 46.79 µ, 21.32 µ and 28.32 µ respectively. Their rays are 1-5 in line and trahe number was found as 88. The mean of vessel radial diameter of the spring wood for Acer monspessulanum subsp. monspessulanum was found as 56. 12 µ, and the tangential diameter, vessel radial diameter of summer wood, tangential diameter of summer wood were found as 56.24 µ, 26.53 µ and 33.89 µ respectively. Their rays are 1-5 in line and trahe number was found as 116. The spring wood radial diameter of Acer monspessulanum subsp. cinerascens was found as 62.37 µ and also mean the tangential diameter as 62.37 µ. The mean of summer wood radial diameter was determined 34.35 µ and tangential diameter was 28.80 µ. The rays are 1-6 lines and trahe number in per mm2 was found as 72.All data belonging to all morphological and anatomic varieties were collected and prepared for statically evaluations. Differences were put forwarded by variance analysis and Duncan test in Statistical evaluations.
