Brucella abortus S. 19 aşısı ile aşılı 208 adet. enfekte aşılı sığırkan serumu 623 adet ve albort yapmış ·koyun-keçiye ait 92 adet kanserumu ile çeşili hastanelerden gelen 154 adet insan kan serumuolmak üzere 1077 adet serum sero-ring test, Aglutinasyon, Rivanolve Complement-fixation testleri ile mukayeseli muayene edilmiştir.Aglutinasyon ile sero-ring test ve Rivanol ile Complement-fixationtestl-ednin paralel çalıştığı,Agutinasyıon test ile akut bruceilasis vak'alarından çok iyi sonuçalınmakta ise de, bu test ile negatif veya düşük titre gösterenserumlar diğer yardımcı testlerle muayene edilmelidir.Rivanol ve Aglutinasyon testlerinde birbirine yakın veya aynıderecede reaksiyon meydana gelmesi bir enfeksiyonun olabileceğini,Comp!oement-fixation ve Rivanol testlerinin aşı ve enfeksiyontitrelerinin tefrikinde büyük bir değer taşıdığını.Rivanal test ile hemolizli serumların muayenesinde yüksek. titrede yanlış pozitif reaksiyonların görüldüğü.Sero-ring test ile laboratuvarımızıda uzun zamandan beri yapılançalışmalardan çok iyi sonuç alınmıştır. Gerek laboratuvarlardave gerekse sahada veterinerler tarafından kolayca uygulanabilecek•bir metod olduğu kanısına varılmıştır.

A comparative serological research on Brucellosis using bloodsera collected from humans and domestic animals.208 cattle blood sera which have been vaccinated with S-19vaccine, 623 vaccinated and infected cattle blood sera, 92 bloodsera of aborted sheep and goats and 154 human blood sera thathave been sent from various hospitals in Turkey were tested comparativelyby using sero-ring, agglutination, Rivanol and Complement-fixation tests.lt was observed that there is a paralelism between agglutinationand sero-ring tests and rivanal and complement-fixation tests.By agglutination test, although good results can be obtainedin .acute brucellosis cases, the blood sera showing negative resultsand low titers must be examinated by the help of the other auxillarytests.lt is determined that there is a possibility of an infection inthe case of similor of the same reactions in Rivanal and agglutinationtests. It is also determind that the complement-fixation andrivanol tests have a great value in the differentiation of vaccinationand infection titers.Some wrong positive reactions are seen in the high titers inthe examination of haemolyzed sera by the rivanol test.Many good results are being obtained by using sero-ring testin our laboratory for a long time this test is decided to :be theeasiest test for the veterinary surgeons both in the field trials andin the laboratories.
