Prevention of electricity emergency situations in the regions of Georgia.

The lines and substations with 50% of their loads presented by agrarian consumers of power are agrarian networks. The reliability of power supply in the agricultural regions of Georgia is economically significant inter alia, as unplanned (emergency) restriction of power supply can lead to the disruption of the technological processes of agricultural enterprises, impossibility of mass production, damage or other material losses. Emergencies can be avoided by the timely detection and identification of defects of electrical equipment and appliances. The development of Georgia’s agricultural production in rural areas results in increased energy potential. As a result, more electricity is needed, the power balance changes, the production capacity and the dependence of products on the quantity, quality and reliability of electrical power increase, what can be improved by means of visualizing the electrical equipment and appliances and making a thermogram, as well as using of the indices and values of power outages as one of the methods. The description of the electrification of the branch of agriculture implies analyzing the quantitative and qualitative indices of electrical power, while synthesis implies processing an algorithm of a future action concept by using the given indices. Ensuring a reliable operation of the electrical appliances at the expense of state-of-art service and repairs is the major task of any enterprise supplied with power. Such gaps of the electrical appliances leading to the changes of the electrical characteristics and causing thermal emission, can be detected by a thermal imaging study. The thermal imaging study is provided by shooting a thermogram. The visualization to detect the existing state of the electrical appliances is done without stopping an appliance and allows detecting the signs of damage at an early stage. Stopping an electrical appliance, which is going false, improves the power supply reliability and decreases power losses. Tab. 3, Fig. 4, Ref. 8.
