The article discusses the waste of mining and processing enterprises, which are stored on their territory. Due to the uncontrolled disposal of waste, it is washed away by rain water and heavy metals are found in nearby rivers.The content of heavy metals in the Kazretula and Mashavera riversw has been studied and compared with the corresponding maximum allowable concentrations. Tab. 2, Fig. 2, Ref. 5.
