英语. Upper digestive tract pathology (between the mouth and the abomasum) is very different when comparing small ruminants with cattle. Some problems are rare or almost non-existent in sheep and goats: actinobacillosis, actinomycosis, oesophageal obstruction, bloat, traumatic reticuloperitonitis, abomasum displacement to the left while, others are particularly important: dental diseases (incisors and molars), oral diseases and pharyngeal abscesses.
