Today's world is mostly dependent on fossil fuel for power generation. In order to determine the briquetting characteristics of biomass was used to study the compaction behavior of biomass grinds from agricultural residues. This paper provides a resource-based assessment of availability of biomass resources for energy production in Republic of Moldova from the point of view of its use as a raw material for the production of bio briquettes.
