На основе сравнительного анализа комплектования Центральной научной с.-х. библиотеки в советский период и в современных условиях показано, как библиотека решает задачу обеспечения доступа ученых к иностранной литературе. Дан анализ зарубежных полнотекстовых электронных ресурсов и способ их получения. Сделан вывод о необходимости использования библиотечных методов обслуживания при работе с базами данных электронных ресурсов.

The article shows how the library solves the problem of providing access to foreign literature for scientists based on a comparative analysis of the acquisition of the Central Scientific Agricultural Library in the Soviet period and in modern conditions. The analysis of foreign full-text e-resources and the method of obtaining them is given. It is concluded that it is necessary to use library service methods when working with databases of e-resources.
