俄语. Оценка фенотипа - важный процесс в селекционной практике и при изучении влияния генов, формирующих продуктивные качества у овец. Цель работы - оценка информативности параметров фенотипа у овец породы российский мясной меринос методом анализа главных компонент, для дальнейшего использования в программах геномной селекции, а также применимых для прижизненной оценки мясной продуктивности. Впервые предложены новые способы оценки экстерьера и интерьера для изучения мясной продуктивности и определена их эффективность использования у овец породы российский мясной меринос (РММ). Изучена возможность определения величины отдельных мышечных групп с использованием таких параметров, как обхват плеча, предплечья и бедра инструментальными методами, а также измерение толщины бедренной мышцы и жира (ТБМ и ТЖ) в поясничной области с помощью УЗИ. Объект исследования: бараны-годовики (n=50) породы РММ. Для оценки значимости предлагаемых промеров по сравнению с применяемыми в существующей практике были использованы метод главных компонент и корреляционный анализ. В ходе проведенной работы было установлено, что промеры объема бедра и обхвата предплечья имели наиболее значимые корреляции со всеми параметрами, описывающими экстерьер овец породы РММ. На основании анализа главных компонент определили, что первые 6 компонент в исследовании объясняли более 80% фенотипической изменчивости. Наибольшую значимость (0,87) при оценке фенотипических параметров, связанных с мясной продуктивностью, оказал предложенный параметр ТБМ, а наименьшую (0,22) - обхват бедра. Таким образом, предложенные показатели ТБМ и ТЖ, определяемые с помощью УЗИ,, целесообразно использовать для фенотипической оценки экстерьера овец породы РММ, особенно при поиске геномных ассоциаций с продуктивными качествами.

英语. Phenotype assessment is an important process in breeding practice and for studying the influence of genes that form the productive qualities of sheep. The aim of the work is to assess the informative content of phenotype parameters in Russian Meat Merino (RMM) sheep by the method of principal component analysis, for further use in genomic selection programs, as well as applicable for in live-animal estimate of meat productivity. For the first time, new methods of assessing the exterior and interior for the study of meat productivity have been proposed and their efficiency has been determined for RMM sheep. The possibility of determining the size of individual muscle groups using such parameters as the girth of the shoulder, forearm, and thigh by instrumental methods, as well as measuring the thigh muscle thickness and fat thickness (TMT and FT, respectively) in the lumbar region has been studied using ultrasound. The object of the study was the one-year-old RMM rams (n = 50). To assess the significance of the proposed measurements, in comparison with those used in existing practice, the principal component method and correlation analysis were used. In the course of the work carried out, it has been found that such measurements as thigh volume and forearm girth had the most significant correlations with all parameters describing the exterior of the RMM breed. Based on the principal component analysis, it was determined that the first 6 components in the study explained more than 80% of phenotypic variability. The proposed TMT parameter was of the greatest importance (0.87) in assessing the phenotypic parameters associated with meat productivity, and the hip girth was the least (0.22). Thus, the proposed parameter TMT and FT determined by ultrasound are advisable to use for the phenotypic assessment of RMM sheep exterior, especially when searching for genomic associations with production performance.
