METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES SOCIO-ECONOMIC REHABILITATION FOR STAGNANT TERRITORIES

There are a large number of stagnating cities and regions all over the world, which is an aggravating factor in thedevelopment of the economy. Using their example, we can identify the main reasons and ways to solve their exit from thesubsidized state. The state of the economy, in which there is a stagnation of production for a long period of time, is calledstagnation, manifests itself in the depressive nature of production, slowing down investment processes, as well as low – paidjobs, which generates a high level of unemployment and, as a result, an outflow of population to more favorable regions andcountries. The problem of regional inequality in the territories of cities leads to instability, deterioration of the level and qualityof life of people, as well as to the complete extinction of territories remote from the center. The article deals with the problemsof integrated socio-economic planning of stagnant territories, a comparative analysis of domestic and foreign practice-orientedsolutions in the field of integrated development.
