To evaluate the effect of inorganic and organic (humic acid) fertilizers on the yield and quality traitsof three different Black cumin ecotypes(Syrian, Iranian, Iraqi). field experiment was carried out at Al-Ghazal area in Al-Hassaka Governorate. The aim of the study focused on determining the optimalfertilizer rate for the cultivation of Black cumin and determining the most responsive and productiveecotypes in the targeted environment, where eight fertilizer treatments have been applied. Theexperiment was laid according to the complete randomized block design (RCBD), with thearrangement of split-split blots, with three replications. The fertilization treatment (4.5 L. ha-1 humicacid) + (180 P2O5 + 200 N kg. ha-1) gave the best indicators for all the studied traits. The plant height ,number of main branches per plant, number of capsules per plant, number of seeds per capsule, seedweight, seed yield, biological yield and harvest index, and essential oil yield were significantly thehighest was significantly is (62.116 cm, 8,368 branches. Plant-1, 26,342 ca. plant-1, 90,509 seeds. Box-1, 10,238 g. plant-1, 150.70 g. m-2, 229.79 g.m-2, 65.07%, 0.150 ml. plant-1) compased with controltreatment . It has been also noticed that the Iranian ecotype outperformed in all the morphological traitscompared with the Syrian and Iraqi types, as the Syrian ecotype outperformed in the percentage ofessential oil over the other investigated ecotypes. As for the essential oil yield, the highest significantwas in Syrian types (1.3230%) while it was the lowest in Iraqi types (1.1348%) . The amount ofThymoquinone in the oil increased in all the applied fertilizer treatments, with it distinguished whenfertilizing with the two treatments (4.5 liters. ha-1 humic acid) + (180 P2O5 + 200 N) kg. ha-1, and (3L. ha-1 humic acid) + (140 P2O5 + 160 N kg. ha-1) .It is recommended to cultivate of the Iranian ecotype and apply (4.5 liters. ha-1 humic acid) + (180P2O5 + 200 N kg. ha-1). Black cumin ecotypes vary in their productivity under the conditions of Al-Hasakah Governorate, and that the Iranian ecotype appears to be one of the best ecotype that can becultivated to oblain the highest seed yield and oil percentage.
