Siirt Yöresi Fıstık Üreticilerinin Sulama Egilimlerinin Belirlenmesi | Determination of Irrigation Tendency of Siirt Regional Pistachio Growers

土耳其. Antepfıstığıyetiştiriciliği Türkiye’de birçok İl’de yapılmasına karşın, ağırlıklı olarak,iklim ve topoğrafyanın uygunluğu nedeniyle Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesindeyapılmaktadır. Bölge illeri içerisinde Gaziantep ve Şanlıurfa başta olmak üzereAdıyaman, Mardin ve Siirt’te yoğun olarak yetiştirilmekte olup bölge ekonomisiüzerinde önemli etkiye sahiptir. Ancak Gaziantep ve Şanlıurfa gibi bölgelerdedaha çok yerli çeşitlerin yetiştiriciliği yapılırken, Siirt yöresinde, bölgeyeuyum sağlamış Siirt çeşidi yetiştirilmektedir. Siirt Bölge ikliminin karasalözellik göstermesi, yaz mevsiminin aşırı sıcak, yağış rejimindeki düzensizlik,fıstık yetiştiriciliğinde diğer kültürel uygulamalarla beraber bölgede sulamayıda zorunlu kılmaktadır. Fıstıkyetiştiricilerin sulamaya karşı olan eğilimlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla, Siirtili ve ilçelerinde, üreticilerle yüz yüze görüşme yoluyla yürütülen buçalışmada, 40 sorudan oluşan anket formu, “Basit Tesadüfi Örnekleme“ yöntemikullanılarak anket yapılan işletme sayısı belirlenmiştir. Bu yöntemle,yetiştiriciliğin yoğun olarak yapıldığı 7 ilçede, 73 köyde 177 üretici ilegörüşülerek elde edilen veriler, MİNİTAB 16 istatistik programı kullanılarakdeğerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda,yöredeki fıstık yetiştiricileri arasında sulamanın benimsenmesinde daha çokklasik üretim anlayışının yaygın olduğunu belirlenmiştir.

Despite the pistachio cultivation is present in many provinces of Turkey, cultivation activities are mainly carried out in Southeastern Anatolia Region because of the suitable climate and topographical conditions. In the region, Pistachio is widely grown intensively, particularly in Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Mardin, and Siirt. Moreover, pistachio cultivation has a significant influence on the region's economy. However, while more local varieties are grown in regions such as Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa, Siirt variety is grown in Siirt region, which has adapted to the region. The continental climate features of the region, the irregularities of precipitation regime of the excessively hot summer, make irrigation an imperative application along with other cultural practices. When Turkey's not rich in water is considered, it appears water has a critical role in vitality and in agricultural irrigation.In order to determine the tendency of pistachio growers towards irrigation, the questionnaire form consisting of 40 questions, the number of enterprises identified by "Simple Random Sampling" method was determined in this study conducted in Siirt provinces and districts through face to face interviews with producers.With this method, the data obtained by interviewing 177 producers in 73 villages in 7 districts where pistachio cultivation is intensively conducted are evaluated using the MINITAB 16 statistical program.As a result of the study, it was determined that the traditional production concept was more common in the adoption of irrigation among Pistachio growers in the region.
