Drones in Sugar Beet Cultivation

Agricultural production has been looking for new technologies to increase crop yields. One way may be monitoring and analysis of pictures of fields captured by drones. Such analysis (VARI, NDVI) may help to prevent crop losses caused by diseases or pests. In conjunction with cameras (RGB, NIR) on drones, the time required for snapshot and analysis is reduced. The presented paper gives an example of RGB analysis, showing that even a small change in the health of a plant is identifiable in RGB spectra.
