The developed guidelines are intended as informative, methodical and educational material about natural resources integrated planning and management in the urban environment, including both theoretical insights and practical examples. The material consists of three thematic sections. The first includes the strategic and theoretical framework where the main insights about natural resources in the urban environment, urban ecology and strategic ones are characterized documents that include integrated planning and management of natural resources. The second section reviews the main ones methodological approaches and concepts, while the third chapter summarizes already existing tools related to integrated planning and management of natural resources. The presentation of the material is made as follows — the basis is general information on the topic, which has been supplemented with the key findings highlighted in the color corresponding to the chapter and those highlighted in gray background examples from practice.
