This study was conducted in research area of Agriculture Faculty, Ordu, during the 2012-2013 to determination of morphological characterization of local peas types grow the provice in Giresun. Different districts of giresun in September -October of 2012, grain consumption in order to navigate through the seeds of pea genotypes grown changing entrenched attitudes with material collected in the local markets. The collected materials will be evaluated as check with 24 pieces of genotype 3 consists of commercial varieties. Seeding on November 20 rows between the time of 40 cm, 10 cm, the length of 4 m and will be Augmented each genotype 2 Trial established according to Desenine. Plants dry harvest maturity period when they are harvested by hand and by the road. As a result of study; output period 10-19 days, flowering period 65-145 days, vegetation period 160-210 days, plant height 50-145 cm, body diameter 3.11-8.30 mm, number of branches 1-17, first pods height 5-72 cm, pods height 5-13 cm, pods length 8.92-25.73 mm, seed height 5.77-12.20 mm, seed length 5.60-11.78 mm, number of pods per plant 7-35 PCs/plant, number of grains per pod 3-11 PCs/pods, grain per plant 18.45-28.69 g/plant, the average weight of one dry pods 0.90-2.70 g, 1000 seed weight 128.39-243.82 g, grain yield per unit of area 92.25-143.45 kg/da, biological yield per unit of area 156.03-250.43 kg/da, harvest index % 53-73 and protein contetnt % 19.86 -28.12 respectivey.
