Nutrient Composition and Its Comparison to Turkish Food Codex Legislation of Milk Obtained Hair Goats Raising Osmaniye Province

The main objective of the study to determine nutrient composition of Hair goat milk raising Osmaniye Province and compare with Turkish Food Codex Legislation. Milk samples were obtained from bulk tanks of 30 farmers raising Hair Goats (total 3000 dairy goats). It is estimated that milk fat %4.5±0.25, protein %4.7±0.08, acidity 6.5±0.03 °SH, density 31.1±0.54 g/cm3, lactose %4.4±0.01 and fatless dry matter %9.9±0.10. As a result of research, it is determined that the milk obtained from Native Hair Goat by protein, acidity, fat, fatless dry matter and density is acceptable to Turkish Food Codex raw Milk Standarts.
