英语. Different organic materials (manures) were analysed in order to study their relations with boron. In general they can be used as boric fertilizers or treated with boron for the same objective. The EUF system is a reliable extraction method to diagnosis the B status in an organic material, because it gives us wide and logic information compared with the hot water method. Manure characteristics apparently related with their boron retention power are: pH, Ca levels, fulvic acid content and the ratio humic acid/fulvic acid.

In generale, questi materiali si possono utilizzare come fertilizzanti borici od essere trattati con boro colla stessa finalita. Il sistema EUF e un metodo d'estrazione sicuro, per la diagnosi della situazione del boro in un materiale organico, perche ci fornisce una relazione logica da compararsi col metodo di estrazione con acqua calda. Le caratteristiche di questi materiali, che sembra possono influire sulla capacita di ritenzione del boro, sono: pH, livello di calcio, contenuto di acidi umici ed il rapporto acidi umici/acidi fulvici
