Results from Arrow's orange roughy research

In July 1984 an orange roughy survey was carried out on the Challenger Plateau. The programme was divided into two phases and involved fourteen days on the fishing grounds, and included 118 stations. Because of the large number of variables, further analysis is needed before a stock size estimate for the Challenger Plateau can be calculated.
