Investigations concerning the resistance of some maize inbreed lines and hybrids against stalk fusariosis

By 1981 through 1983, at the Agricultural Research Station in Suceava, the behaviour of 24 inbreed lines and 6 licensed and prospective hybrids were studied with regard to the attack of corn stalk albinosis under conditions of natural and artificial infection. The lines Suceava-244 and Precoce-41 as well as the tetralinear corn hybrid Suceava-23/80 and Suceava-26/80 proved to have an increased resistance to this fungal disease.
