The distribution of neutral and acid mucopolysaccharides, glycogen and lipids in the adrenal gland of sheep during early pregnancy were studied. Medullary parenchyma had high lipid content. The lipid granules were perinuclear and varied from medium to coarse. Distinction between epinephrine and norepinephrine cells could not be possible. The cytoplasmic droplets of histocytes were strongly positive
