The study of the population and flight activity of the olive fruit fly using sex-pheromone and water traps showed five periods of flight activity. The first two small peaks were between mid-March and mid-April, and mid-June and early July. The third peak occurred between mid-August and mid-September, the fourth peak in early October and the fifth peak between end of October and mid-November.
