Thirty suckling pigs from three litters of Cotswold sows with almost equal number of male and female and equal weight were distributed into two treatments, namely (a) goats colostrum supplementation, given at three doses of 5 ml each on the first day after birth and two doses of 10 ml each on the second and third day, and (b) no supplementation. Initial weights of those with supplementation and without were 1.53 and 1.57 kg, respectively. Total gains in weight after 45 days were 9.69 kg with supplementation and 9.15 kg without, the difference not significant. Incidence of scouring was not influenced by treatment
