The six concentrations used were (control), 50, 100, 200 and 300 ppm. Results showed that alpha naphthalene acetic acid (ANAA) significantly promoted the total number, fresh and dry weight and length of roots. Rooting of tomato stem cuttings was highest at 150 ppm
