Significant differences were observed among treatments on percent germination, length of roots, height of seedlings and fresh weight of seedlings but not the number of roots. Soil medium with well-decomposed hog manure produced taller and vigorous seedlings than garden soil. Likewise, higher percentage of germination was obtained fom the same media containing well-decomposed hog manure. Taller and more vigorous seedlings and higher percentage of germination were produced from the media with well-decomposed hog manure than garden soil
