Chemical and physical properties of rice grain that influence the process of drying are given. The technology of drying is described. Specific requirements of rice grain as to the process of drying (lower drying temperature, the necessity of drying by stages when the grain humidity exceeds 18%) are the reason for the output lower in comparison with driers for corn grain. The output could be 50-65% lower when drying crop grain
