Growth and yield performances of cotton as affected by different sources of organic fertilizer grown in a Maligaya clay loam soil [Philippines]
1984
Cunanan, E.P.
Application of different organic fertilizers had no significant influences on the height of plants at maturity, number of bolls per plant and the average weight per boll. Significant variation was observed on the yield per plot. Among the different animal manures applied, chicken manure was the best organic fertilizer. Organic fertilizer physically and chemically improved the condition of the soil by decreasing its bulk density and increasing its organic matter content
