[Influence of female age on litter size and sex ratio of Blue Polar fox offsprings]

The data of 1,030 litters were analysed. The highest number of puppies at birth was noted in females, two years old, and the highest number of reared ones in females, 4 and 7 years old. The female age and litter size effects on the sex ratio of puppies were significant. The highest number of males was obtained from females 2 and 3 years old in litters with 1 to 9 puppies
