[The situation, possibilities and directions of beekeeping development in hilly-mountainous regions of Yugoslavia]

Main directions of beekeeping development in hilly-mountainous and Adriatic regions (SFRY) ought to be increase of primary production of bee products through establishment of larger beehouses (of 50-150 bee colonies) and general increase of bee colonies number; equipment standardization and capacitation of reproduction farms for swarms and queens; protection of bees against diseases, pests and intoxications; provision for professional and scientific aid development, starting from pupils' cooperatives up to post-graduate studies.
