The paper deals with the degree of resistance with maize inbred lines and its hybrids at artificial inoculation of the second internode and internode under a cob with pure culture Gibberella zeae. Simultaneous inoculation in both internodes has proved inconvenient. Concerning the resistance, the plants have reacted differently. A high correlation of the degree of resistance (0.78 and 0.83) occurs in cases of separate inoculation with the investigated internodes.
