Research in application of 'green lacewing chambers' in the field

In the present paper the results of application of Green Lacewing Chamber are represented. In field experiments form, material, equipment and direction of exposition with regard to their attraction to the Green Lacewing Chrysoperla carnea were tested. Also the reduction in mortality was shown. Wooden chambers contained four times more lacewings than Chambers made of plastics. In experiments dealing with the form Chambers with wire-mesh, holecovers, sidewings and normally designed were used. The normally designed Chambers contained the greatest number of lacewings. As equipment straw was very suitable in contrast to hay and leaves. The best direction for exposition was against the main wind direction. No great difference existed between the colours red, white and brown. Only green contained fewer individuals. Mortality in the Green Lacewing Chambers was 1,9 percent at the beginnung of winter and 3,1 percent, when winter ended
