In the effort to reduce pollution and to find out protein resources from industrial waste for animal and fish feed purposes, preliminary experiment on ensiling of waste from frozen froglegs industry using a mixture of propionic and formic acid (1:1) have been conducted. During storage, observations were made on the development of pH value and the content of protein, fat, ash, calcium, moisture and TVB as well as its storage life at room temperature. Chemical analysis during 28 days storage the following average results: moisture 77.03 percent, protein 17.76 percent, fat 2.84 percent, ash 2.60 percent, calcium 0.58 percent. Organoleptic test showed that to produce a silage with long storage life it requires at least 3 percent of mixture of propionic and formic acid (1:1) below this level silage will be easily attacked by mold.
