Correlations analysis were made for plant growth and yield component of peanut. Yield was weakly but positively associated with plant height. Dry matter production (8 weeks) was also weakly associated with number of flowers and number of pods per plant. However yield was positively and strongly associated with number of filled pods, dry weight of filled pods and weight of seeds per plant in simple as well as in multiple regression. For the sake of simplicity the yield of peanut can be estimated from number filled pods per plant on Y = 18.08 + 123.13 X. However the more acurate one from dry weight of seed per plant on Y = 101.44 + 179.90 X.
