Variability of the hard parts of opisthaptor of Gyrodactylus leucisci (Monogenea: Gyrodactylidae)

Morphological and metrical evaluations of the hard parts of opisthaptor of 149 specimens of Gyrodactylus leucisci provided data on the variability of this parasite. Summarizing metrical data determines following range of metrical variability of the hard parts of opisthaptor of G. leucisci: Total length (in mm) of massive anchors 0.0583-0.0726, length of their shaft 0.0407 to 0.0506, their point 0.0297-0.0330 and their root 0.0187-0.253. Ventral bar with apparent lateral processes and with 0.0121-0.0187 long shield is 0.0066 to 0.008 long (in the middle) and 0.0242-0.0330 wide. Measurements of the dorsal bar are 0.002-0.003 x 0.0198-0.0220. Total length of marginal hooks is 0.0275 to 0.0330, their massive hook proper is 0.0062-0.0075 long.
