Estimating soil bulk density from other soil properties is useful. In this study method of estimating soil bulk density is directly based on the result of plotting of soil bulk densities against the desired soil property. Thus it differs from the usual methods using the multiple regression technique. Two independent variables have been used, the organic carbon (percent C) and the cation exchange capacity (CEC) to estimate soil bulk density. Testing models were carried out by comparing the estimated values to the measured values and the goodness of fit around the 1:1 line. The results showed that models developed in this study are more simple and were accurate, and seemed to be more widely used.
