The study was conducted to determine the efficacy and safety of the extract/juices of ampalaya, kamias and malunggay. The effect of its juices/extracts on the estrous cycle of rats were examined. Only kamias and "ampalaya" fruit juices showed positive effects. The processing and freeze drying of "ampalaya" fruit juice were continued. Studies to retest the effect of "ampalaya" freeze-dried juice on reproduction showed 70% pregnancy rate.
