Harvesting of cockle : Preliminary study by biological and economical approach

Total weight 3 tons of cockles donated by Malaysian Government were sown in 2 rai area in Nakorn Bay on March 19,1984. After 1 year, some were harvested. The cockles were transported to Bangkok market. Data concerning efficiency of the collector, cost and benefit, death rate within transporting and during selling time are shown.
