Flour samples from tender wheat with different infestation levels of Tribolium confusum du Val and Ephestia kuehniella Zeller were analysed to verify uric acid and ergosterol contents. Results show that the uric acid content is correlated to the pest amount, and that there is no significant change in the ergosterol content
