Substances that could decrease the mobility of heavy metals and nitrates in soil were used. Humex, a regulator of nutrient uptake of plants and Microbion, a biological and nutrient regulator were applied into the soil. Both lowered the NO3 content in pepper and tomato products. By the application of regulators to soil the content of cadmium in the products decreased.
