Some terrestrial tardigrades from Zimbabwe

Four species of Tardigrada belonging to 4 genera are reported from a series of soil samples, collected in Zimbabwe: Macrobiotus richtersi Murray, 1911; Itaquascon trinacriae Arcidiacono, 1962; Isohypsibius schaudinni (Richters, 1909); Apodibius nuntius Binda, 1984. The number of species per sample ranged from 1 to 2. Apodibius nuntius Binda, 1984 and Apodibius serventyi Morgan and Nicholis, 1986 are synonymized.
