A study was conducted to evaluate the effect of a sulphur compounds polluted agroecosystem on the body weight of Colorado potato beetle (CPB) larvae, and the beetles. A number of eggs in the cluster, and a number of larvae hatched were determined. The experimental fields were situated in Chmielow, and Jadachy, in the neighborhood of mines and the sulphur processing plant near Tarnobrzeg. The results demonstrated a statistically significant decrease of the body mass of the larvae in stage 4, substage "C" inhabiting the fields polluted with emissions from sulphur processing plant, as compared to the control plot
