Consumer purchase behaviour towards fresh blueberries, strawberries and raspberries [Melbourne, Victoria]
1989
Newton, H. (Victorian Dept. of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Australia))
A telephone survey of 300 consumers during January 1988 found that during the previous 2 months 9 percent of respondents had purchased fresh blueberries, 74 percent fresh strawberries and 21 percent fresh raspberries. The results indicated that the main reasons given for non-purchase were: dislike of berries; unavailability; unfamiliarity; or unawareness.
