Studies on the spatfall and growth of oyster on different collector (tires, coconut and oyster shells) were conducted in Binangsangkara waters Maros regency, South Sulawesi from December 1988 to March 1989. The spat collectors were hung on the rack and for the growing of oyster collectors were hung on the ract. The result showed that types of collectors had significant effect (P0,05) on the spat settlement, but not significant effect (P0,05) on the oyster growth.
