The International Network of Feed Information Centres relies on a multi-lingual nomenclature that was developed early in its existence and provides for each feed an International Feed Description in standard form. Continuing efforts to ensure the validity of the data it stores are essential to its success. The support of FAO has been an important factor in its development.
