The dynamic of dominant weeds in wheat crops within some experiments with herbicides and long-term rotations was observed on brown-reddish faintly luvic soil during 1961-1990 at SCA Somnic-Craiova in central Oltenia. There have been assessed that the dominant weeds in wheat crops were the following: Matricaria inodora, Anthemis austriaca, Anthemis arvensis, Matricaria chamomilla, whereas the species Vicia angustifolia, Vicia tetrasperma, Agrostemma githago, Lathyrus tuberosus, Rubus caesius disappeared. By treatments with herbicides on base of Dicamba have been controlled almost all dicotyledonous weeds, whereas the perennial species multiplied, especially Convolvulus arvensis and Cirsium arvense, being resistant to herbicides. In 4-year rotation, the infestation degree with weeds was reduced 3-4 times compared to the single-crop system or 2-year rotation during several years of use
