The effect of some regulators on the growth of isolated top meristems of hop (Humulus lupulus) in in vitro culture

The effect of indolyl-butyric acid - IBA and zeatin on morphogenetic reaction of isolated apix meristems of hop was studied in the variety Osvald's clone 72. Low concentration of both regulators did not stimulate the growth of meristems and higher concentrations of IBA led to formation of callus and roots. The content of zeatin 5 to 10 micro M.1/l stimulated the formation of stem and roots and concentration 10 micro M.1/l of zeatine and micro M.1/l of IBA led to the formation of multiple stems.
