Effect of paclobutrazol, fertilizer and water treatment on flowering and fruiting of mango

Flowering stage started from +- 44 days after application or 140 days earlier compared with control. Combined application of paclobutrazol, fertilizer and water gave highest amount of flowers (92,53 percent) and increased fruit production by 43,82 percent compared with control, while highest number of fruitsets was reached by combined application of paclobutrazol and water. Based on economic analysis, application of paclobutrazol yielded the highest profit (B/C ratio = 2,43), thereby, it should be applied as method of inducing flower and fruit set of mango
