Treatment of psoroptic mange in sheep with Ivomec inj.

Ivomec inj. was administered to 10,473 sheep showing signs of psoroptic mange. The drug was well tolerated even by highly pregnant ewes and had no effects on the parturition or the survival of newborn lambs. No difference in therapeutic efficacy was observed between the two dosage levels. The immediate effects of the single and the double treatment were the same, but the latter enhanced complete recovery of skin lesions.
