Quality and capacity determine the developmental tendencies in potato technology. Although the novelties in cultivation technology concentrate on the mechanization of large cultivation areas, storage and processing is in the foreground on farms. Increasing direct marketing resulting from small cultivation areas requires keeping simple solutions for mechanization.
