Formulation of controlled release herbicide C-14 - 2,4-D using zeolit as matrix and its application

英语. Studies on the formulation of controlled release herbicide 2,4-D using zeolit as matrix and shellac as a binder had been carried out. The shellac was dissolved in methanol/acetone (3:1) mixture, and then mixed with non-labelled and C-14-labelled-2,4-D (36.53 micronCi) in acetone solution. By adding 9,5 g of zeolit into the mixture, 10 g formulation containing 3.95 percent of C14 - 2,4-D (36.53 micronCi) was obtained. As much as 0.1233 g formulation (0.45 micronCi) was released in water, and 308 mg formulation (1.125 micron Ci) was released in rice field system, which were planted with 2 rice varieties, i.e. Atomita IV and OBS 1647, and surrounded by two kinds of weeds, i.e. S. natans and S. molesta. The results indicated that 2,4-D was more effective to control S. natans than S. molesta, since S. natans could absorb the herbicide faster. The result of chemical analysis on rice yield after harvest revealed that Atomita IV contained 2.38-3.85 ppm, and OBS 1647 contained 1.68-3.50 ppm herbicide 2,4-D

印度尼西亚. Telah dilakukan penelitian pembuatan formulasi penglepasan terkendali herbisida 2,4-D dengan menggunakan zeolit sebagai bahan penyangga dan shellac sebagai pengikat. Shellac dilarutkan dalam metanol/aseton (3:1) lalu dicampur dengan 2,4-D yang tidak bertanda dan 2,4-D bertanda C-14 sebanyak 820 mikron1 (36,53 mikronCi) dalam pelarut aseton, selanjutnya ditambahkan 9,5 g zeolit. Sebagai hasil didapatkan 10 g formulasi penglepasan terkendali herbisida dengan kadar 2,4-D sebesar 3,95 persen. Sebanyak 0,1232 g formulasi (0,45 mikronCi) dilepas ke dalam air, dan 308 mg (1.125 mikronCi) dilepas pada sistem tanaman padi yang telah ditanami padi varietas Atomia IV dan OBS 1647 dan ditumbuhi gulma S. natans dan S. molesta. Dari pengamatan secara visual terlihat, bahwa herbisida 2,4 D mempunyai daya bunuh lebih efektif terhadap gulma S. natans daripada terhadap gulma S. molesta, karena S. natans dapat menyerap herbisida lebih cepat dan banyak. Hasil pemeriksaan residu herbisida 2,4-D mempunyai daya bunuh lebih cepat dan banyak. Hasil pemeriksaan residu herbisida 2,4-D pada beras hasil panen ialah varietas Atomita IV mengandung 2,38-3,85 ppb, dan OBS 1647 mengandung 1,68-3,50 ppb dan OBS 1647 mengandung 1,68-3,50 ppm
