Electrophoretic variation in Coregonus sp. juveniles reared on two artificial diets

Enzyme gene variability was studied in 8th and 15th week in Coregonus sp. juveniles fed two dry diets; one with 6 ppm of 17-alpha-methyltestosterone (M6), and another without the hormone (M0). Six of the 12 loci screened were monomorphic, and the remaining 6 loci were variable. After 8 weeks of rearing on the diets M6 and M0, the respective heterozygosity values were 0.068 and 0.025, and after 15 weeks they were 0.093 and 0.078 respectively
